Your account

Delete your account, or get a copy of your data

Delete your account yourself from Settings. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. For a copy of your account data, email us from your account address.

Before you delete

Deleting your account is permanent and happens at once. If you only want to stop paying, cancel your plan instead and keep your account on the Free plan. See Cancel your plan.

If you want your lists, export them to CSV first (Pro and Team).

Delete your account

  1. Go to Settings and find Delete your account.
  2. Click Delete my account…
  3. Choose what happens to your paid plans:
    • Stop at the end of the period I have paid for (no further payments), or
    • Stop now (no refund for the rest of the period).
  4. Enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.

Either way, your account is deleted straight away. We email you to confirm.

What we delete, and what we keep

When you delete your account, we:

  • revoke all your API keys and sign you out everywhere;
  • delete your lists, watchlist, alerts, webhook settings, calendar feeds and stored KYB checks;
  • remove your name, email address and password, and the IP addresses and details in your activity history;
  • cancel your subscriptions, as you chose;
  • end your Team if you hold one: your members lose Team features, and the team's shared lists are deleted.

We keep your invoices and payment records for six years, as UK tax law requires. They are no longer linked to a login. Ask support if you need copies.

Newsletter subscriptions and messages you have sent us are separate. Use the unsubscribe link in the newsletter, or ask support@companystack.co.uk to erase them.

Cannot sign in?

Email support@companystack.co.uk from the account's email address with "Privacy" in the subject, asking us to delete the account. We confirm the request came from you, then delete it.

Get a copy of your data

There is no download button for your account data yet. Email support@companystack.co.uk from your account's email address and ask for a copy. We reply within one month.

To take a copy of a list's companies, use Export CSV on the list (Pro and Team).

Being a director is separate

Deleting your account does not remove information about you that comes from public registers, for example if you are a company director. See Listed as a director or owner? Your privacy choices.
