Your assistant answers fast. Its UK company facts are another matter.
How do you connect it to the live register? Here's the CompanyStack MCP server, set up in a minute.
It's a hosted Model Context Protocol server, so there is nothing to install. Your assistant connects over the web and sends your CompanyStack API key, which you can create free.
In Claude Code, it's one command in the terminal: add the server, with your key in a header.
Cursor reads a small JSON file, and Claude Desktop uses a short config with an open-source bridge. Both are on the page, ready to copy.
Then you ask in plain English: find a company number, list its directors and owners, or see which other companies a director runs.
Behind it are 22 tools, from search and company profiles on the free plan to officers, filings, accounts, health scores, sanctions screening and KYB checks on Starter.
Each tool call counts as one ordinary API request against your plan's limits, and the page sets out what the data covers and where it comes from.
22 tools, one command to connect, and 1,000 requests a day on the free plan.
