Plans and billing
Downgrade your plan, or undo a downgrade
A move to a lower paid plan takes effect at your next renewal. You keep your current plan until then, and you can undo the change on your billing page.
How downgrading works
When you move to a lower paid plan, the change takes effect at your next renewal. For example, from Team to Pro, or from API Business to Starter.
- You keep your current plan, with all its limits, until the renewal date.
- From the renewal date you pay the lower price.
- Nothing is credited or refunded for the rest of the current period.
Downgrade
- Go to your billing page.
- Under the product you want to change, click Switch to the lower plan.
- Click Confirm switch.
The billing page then shows "Changes to [plan] on [date]. You keep your current plan until then." We also email you to confirm.
Undo a downgrade
Before the renewal date, go to your billing page and click Keep my current plan. The scheduled change is removed and your plan renews as before.
Upgrading or cancelling also replaces a scheduled downgrade.
Moving to the Free plan
There is no "downgrade to Free" button. To move to Free, cancel your paid plan. You keep it until the end of the period you have paid for, then move to Free. See Cancel your plan.
What happens to my data?
We never delete your data because of a downgrade. If you are over a limit on the lower plan, some features pause until you are back within it. For example, if your lists hold more companies than the new plan allows, remove some companies.
