Plans and billing
How to upgrade your plan
Upgrades start straight away. You pay the prorated difference for the rest of the current period, and your new limits apply at once.
If you are on a Free plan
- Go to your billing page.
- Find the product you want to upgrade: the web app or the API.
- Choose Monthly or Annual, then click Upgrade to the plan you want.
- Pay on Stripe's secure checkout page.
Your plan is active as soon as Stripe confirms the payment, usually within seconds. The billing page shows "Payment received. Confirming your plan with Stripe…" while it waits.
- Web app: the full screener, exports, alerts and history unlock across the site straight away.
- API: your existing keys get the new limits and endpoints at once. You do not need to change your code or create new keys.
Checkout says the plan is for business use only, that it renews automatically and that payments are not refunded. Read Our refund policy before you buy.
If you already pay for a plan
- Go to your billing page.
- Click Switch to the higher plan.
- Click Confirm switch.
The new plan starts straight away. We charge your card now for the difference, prorated for the rest of your current period. If you keep the same billing cycle, your renewal date does not change.
If you had a downgrade scheduled for your renewal, upgrading replaces it.
If your bank asks you to confirm the payment
Some banks ask you to approve the payment (3-D Secure). The billing page then shows "Your bank needs you to confirm this payment". Click Confirm payment with your bank and approve it. Your plan changes as soon as you do. If you do not confirm, nothing changes and you stay on your current plan.
If your card is declined
Your plan does not change and nothing is charged. Update your card under Card, invoices & receipts on the billing page, then try again. See Change your card or billing details.
The plan has not changed after I paid
Stripe has taken your payment but has not confirmed it to us yet. Refresh the billing page after a minute. If it still shows your old plan, raise a request at Support and we will put it right.
Bought twice by mistake?
If you complete two checkouts for the same product, we detect it. The second subscription is cancelled and refunded automatically, and you do not need to ask.
