Getting started

Read a company page

What each tab on a company page shows, where the information comes from, and which parts need a paid plan.

Every UK company has a page at companystack.co.uk/company/ followed by its company number.

The header

The header shows the company name, number and status, and its Health Score. See What the health score means.

From the header you can:

  • Watch the company or Add to list, to get alerts when it changes. See Alerts: what we tell you and when.
  • Download PDF report: a branded company report. Reports come with web app Pro (50 a month) and Team (250 a month).

The tabs

TabWhat it shows
OverviewKey details, registered office and the breakdown behind the health score, with red flags and positive signals
OfficersCurrent and former directors and secretaries
OwnershipPeople and companies with significant control (PSCs)
FilingsThe company's filing history, with links to the filed documents
AccountsFigures read from the filed accounts, year by year
ChargesMortgages and other secured borrowing registered against the company
Risk & Due DiligencePro and Team: the due diligence assessment (risk score, red flags and positive signals), the sector benchmark, competitors and peers, any insolvency cases, and sanctions screening. Free and signed-out visitors see what each check covers and how to get it
TimelineKey events in the company's history
Data SourcesWhat we found in other public registers, such as Gazette notices, food hygiene ratings and CQC (most of these are a copy loaded in April 2026; see data sources)

Company and group figures

A company that heads a group files two sets of figures each year: its own, and the consolidated figures of the whole group. The Accounts tab shows the group figures where we hold them, because they describe the business the company actually runs, and says so in the heading. A Group | Company control appears when we hold both, so you can see the company's own figures instead. Companies that are not parents have company figures only.

Where it comes from

Officers, ownership, filings and charges are fetched from Companies House when you open the page, so they are as current as the register. See How up to date is the data?.

Free and paid plans

Every plan, including Free, shows every year of filed accounts we hold.
